The Career Closet

The Career Closet is the Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield’s signature community outreach service project. Since 2001, the Career Closet has offered career-dressing services at no charge to women associated with a community agency and struggling financially. By providing professional clothing and skills, the JLEP hopes to increase the self-confidence, self-esteem, and ultimately, the self-sufficiency of our clients. New this year we have changed our services from in-person shopping at the Career Closet boutique, to a personalized shopper approach. Our clients will be asked to fill out a profile and from there our volunteer stylists will create the perfect look creating confidence and giving the resources needed to be dressed for success!
